Do I need to indexing before upgrading the Jira from 8.1 to 8.16.

Dear Team

We have plan to upgrade Jira from 8.1 to 8.16. I have one quick question. Do I need to re-indexing before upgrading. Can you please guide me.

There is no need to index before the upgrade. After the upgrade completes you will need to reindex and Jira will do it automatically.
