Displaying Epic Links filtered by Labels doesn't work in a dashboard

Hello all

I'm trying to create a new dashboard that will use a rich filter and will display a 2d table where the X axis is assignee and the Y axis is epic link. 

This works great with assignee filter, epic name/link filter etc. the only filter that it's partially working is with Labels.

We are using Labels in epics and when I want to display by a specific label, I get some epics but the others that have the same labels are shown as "None" - can you please assist?

Are you trying to display information about Epic or about the child issues of Epics? "Epic Link" is a field used in child issues to note the issue key for the child issue's parent Epic. A Two Dimensional  table where "Epic Link" is one of the axes should only be display child issues, not Epics.

If you are indeed trying to display information about child issues, then the Label rich filter you are applying would be applied to the child issues, not the parent Epics. Your Epic Link axis would then show only the Epic issues keys for Epics that include child stories that have the specified Label value.

My intention is to display epic names and their assignees, filtered by labels that are in the Epic level. Now I think the issue is that I don't see any "Epic Name" field in the in 2 dimensional rich filter statistics gadget..

Can you share with us the details of the filter you are using to configure the gadget?

Can you show us an image of the gadget configuration and the gadget output (black out confidential information) and point out where you expect to see an Epic Name but it is missing?

Also show us that Epic with enough data to confirm that it matches the filtering you are using for the gadget.

Hey @Trudy Claspill - I think I understand the way it works now - I'm expecting to see the epics but using epic links actually takes what's in the epic's tickets up but if I have a label/priority or anything set in the epic level - I won't be able to see it using epic link.
