Up until this morning we had story points showing in the grey oval at the bottom right of each card in the Active Sprints view of our JIRA board.
When I came in this morning the story point values were missing, without any action on my part. I was able to add story points to the bottom left of the card by going to Configure > Card layout and adding Story Points under Active Sprints. But I don't want that as it looks messy and adds height to each card.
I've tried going to Configure > Estimation and toggling Estimation Statistic from something else and back to Story Points but that doesn't change my board.
Can someone help me return my board to my desired state?
I discovered the issue. Under Configure > Estimation, make sure that Estimation Statistic is set to Story Points, and the "Time Tracking" option is set to None.
Hello,
Kindly check that the estimation mode for your board is set to Story Points. You have to go to the Board Settings->Estimation tab and choose Story Points in the Estimation Statistic field. You can find more info here:

Thank you for your reply @Alexey Matveev. I can confirm that the Estimation Statistic field is currently set to Story Points.
The problem is still occurring though.

If you open a ticket from the board, are there story points in the ticket or the field is empty? If it is empty and you are sure, that you had story points in the field before, check the history tab of the issue.

All of the issues in our current sprint have story point estimates. You can see that in the screenshot at the top of the issue.
