Display name for Issuetype?

i have a simple question.

I want to display the issuetype Epic as EPIC in project 1 and as FEATURE in Project 2.

Is it possible? (of course, without creating a new issuetype FEATURE)

Not out of the box. I think you'd have to hack the base code to change how it appears per project.
