Discovering who is admin, and getting support

Rob Mitchell
February 24, 2026

I am trying to find out who is the admin on my Jira account, I suspect they have left the business and we have no admins left. For some reason Atlassian thinks we are on a free plan (we definitely aren't) and so I am unable to submit a support ticket. Is anyone able to help here?

Hi @Rob Mitchell

As your tags state, you are a product admin, you can raise an issue at Atlassian Support.

As there is no option for you or us in the forum to see this information. We are users like you and don't have access or the ability to access your instance.

I cannot raise an issue at Atlassian Support, it says I need to upgrade to a paid plan to get customer support, but I am already on a paid plan.

Is there any way I can actually speak to someone at Atlassian?

Hi @Rob Mitchell

I have requested assistance for you, it can take up to two business days from an Atlassian employee to respond on this.

If the message is that you are not on a paid plan, then you will not be on a paid plan.

Can you access https://admin.atlassian.com/ , if you can go to Apps -> Atlassian Apps section, this will show you the products and related plan.

Watch the post you created.

Thanks very much for your help @Marc -Devoteam-

I am definitely on a paid plan, or at least we are paying Atlassian for something! I'm wondering if somehow my Atlassian account has been linked to the wrong organisation somewhere.

I can access admin.atlassian.com, but I don't see Jira or Confluence there even though I am using those products every day.

Hi @Rob Mitchell

Are you not been granted to an orgaization that you don't manage, but is managed by another company, you only have been granted rights to use their Jira and Confluence.

I have requested assistance for you so Atlassian will reach out to you via this community post you created.

Let me know the results
