I was using a free plan. I am trying to log in to my Jira account after a long time. I don't see my projects, tasks, related data etc. when I log on. How do I get that back....

Hola Sanjay,

If you were using a Free Jira Cloud site and haven’t logged in for a long time, the first thing I’d check is whether the site itself was deactivated for inactivity.

Go to Atlassian Administration and check whether the old Jira site still appears under Sites. Also, make sure you’re checking the exact old site URL, not a newly created or different Jira site under the same Atlassian account.

Atlassian notes that Free Jira Cloud sites can be deactivated after a long period of inactivity: https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/what-is-the-free-jira-cloud-plan/

If the site is still listed, open the site and check whether Jira is still active and whether your account still has Jira product access. If the projects exist but don’t show in Jira, check Project settings or the project list in administration to confirm whether the projects are still there and whether your user still has access to browse them.

If the site or subscription was deactivated, check whether it can be reactivated from Atlassian Administration. Atlassian has reactivation guidance here: https://support.atlassian.com/subscriptions-and-billing/docs/reactivate-a-subscription/

If the old site no longer appears at all, look through your email for older Atlassian messages about site deactivation, deletion, or subscription changes, because those emails usually identify the original site URL and what happened to it.

Thanks,

James

1. The Jira site was deactivated or deleted

For free plans, Atlassian may deactivate sites that remain inactive for an extended period.

Try:

Logging into Atlassian Administration.
Looking under Sites to see if your Jira site still exists.

2. You no longer have access to the site

If someone else was the site administrator:

Your account may have been removed.
The site may still exist, but you no longer have permissions.

Ask the site admin to verify your access.
