Disable Attachment Preview

Hello, 

Is there a way to disable the attachment preview? It's confusing to my users to see it posted in the description box and then show below in the attachment area.

Welcome to the Atlassian community.

Indeed, it is not possible at this moment to disable the attachment preview in the issue view, however, we understand that this may cause some confusion for some users since the same preview displays in the attachment area as well.

That being said, we created the following feature request to get it implemented for Jira Cloud:

- Ability to disable attachment preview

Guys seriously.

A text log file attachment of 50MB just makes my web browser hang within a few seconds of its futile "Preview attempt" so I have to play a fast click game every time I want to download those logs.  

I just wander what went through the head of the PM that made the decision to add a new feature by killing an existing one? And also how a QA engineer would ever approve this?
