Directory user created with Audit Log or UserCreatedEvent

We have an LDAP directory configured to synchronise once an hour. When a new user is created we usually

• see an entry in the audit log (Author: System, Category: user management, summary: User created)
• UserCreatedEvent fires (we have a scriptrunner listener bound to it)

This morning we added a user to the LDAP directory and user got created in jira a little while late. No audit log exists and the scriptrunner script didn't fire.

What could cause something like that ?

Hi @Daniel Garcia 

There might be different reasons for not triggering the script runner, you can check them from <jira-home directory>/atlassian/jira/logs for more details. 

We had similar issue in May and we have raised an Support Ticket with Scriptrunner, they have fixed the issue and provided a release

I think the issue is higher up. The Jira audit log didn't record the event
