Difference between jira cloud and jira server.

How do i know which account i have? Jira on premise or Jira cloud

Hi Marium,

You can also look at the page with the Dashboard at the footer on page and if there is text like: "Atlassian Jira Project Management Software (v8.13.11 # 813011-sha1: 467d210)", this is Jira Server version 8.13.11. Jira Cloud has no text in the footer.

Hi Marium,

Yes, it's basically the same product (with the same features), only there are a few differences between Server and Cloud.

Hi @Marium ,

The easiest will be to just look at the hostname you are connecting to.

If it is https://something.atlassian.net then it's Cloud. Otherwise it's 99% sure that you are on premise.
