The new release has made navigating boards within projects very difficult. It's not intuitive at all. While people previously couldn't even imagine a project could have multiple viewboards, it's now even worse. At my company, we use boards a lot within projects; they've sorted work items by hierarchy. The way it is, it's become quite difficult.
It's understandable that the new navigation has caused some initial frustration, particularly with navigating boards and hierarchical work structures. However, the ability to customize your sidebar and project tabs offers the potential to create a more personalized and efficient navigation experience in the long run. It's recommended to explore these customization options and consider how they can be leveraged to adapt to the changes and optimize your workflow within the new navigation framework.

My quick recommendation would be to recap the Jira software essentials from Atlassian University OR check the release notes to note the key updates/ upgrades and enhancements.
