Development panel is not shown on popup for some statuses

I was using default kanban workflow and for issues that had `In Progress` status the development panel is shown (for example I can see commits that mention task or user story). 

I've added a new status and a column `In Review` and when I move an issue to this status on a popup issue dialog from the kanban board the development panel is not shown.

If I open the issue in the new page the development panel is shown.

So the question is how to configure what fields are shown on the popup? Specifically how to make development panel displayed on the popup that is opened from the kanban board?

Welcome to Atlassian Community!

The Development panel is a field that appears when we link it to BitBucket, it's not a field that we can add or remove as other custom fields.

Just for a better understanding of the issue, are you using a Classic or a Next-gen project?

Are you using the new issue view?

When the popup appears, since the screen is smaller, it's necessary to scroll down to see all the fields on the right side and if there are many fields, it may show a "View more" option.

The fields are not based on status, so it should appear on all tickets.

If this page is up to date https://support.atlassian.com/jira-service-desk-cloud/docs/how-can-i-tell-if-im-in-a-classic-and-next-gen-project/ I'm using Classic (that is I don't have any message on the bottom left).

I'm using a new issue view I guess. Here's now the issue in the in progress status looks like:

After I've changed it's status to `In Review` it looks like this :

That's the same issue in the same project just after the status change.

`Show 4 more fields` does not have `Development` section, btw.

The issue you are facing was reported as a bug:

• Transitioning issue on new issue view will cause development panel to go missing

On the bug, it mentions that refreshing the page it shows the development panel again.

Also, since you are using a Classic project, another workaround would be disabling the new issue view. Go to your Profile picture > Personal settings and disable "Jira labs".
