Developing jira plugin for beginners.

I want to develop a time tracking plugin for jira. I need simple plugins and their code examples about jira plugin development. There are few examples for beginners therefor I need help document about it.

Have you tried the JIRA Plugin Tutorials? Also, the book Practical JIRA Plugins by Matt Doar is very good at walking you through a complete plugin.
