Description of custom field not showing in Edit screen

I have a bunch of custom fields, the description of these custom fields shows up in the Create Screen, but the description of the custom fields does not show up in the Edit Screen. Please guide whats happening here

In Cloud, on the view/edit screen, because this is inline editing it would be too cluttered to show the full description. However, when you hover over a field, and click on the (i) icon, you'll see the field description there:

@[deleted] don't be so hard on yourself. Jira is a huge software and has a lot of functionalities. Even the most senior jira administrators can forget things.
