How can a template be integrated when, for example, the Description field is clicked? In this template predefined mandatory fields must be filled before you can save it. This template should only open for change requests.

Hi Waldemar - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

It is not possible in Jira Cloud to make a field (or fields) mandatory/required based on the value of another field.

Hi John,

thank you for quick response. But its possible to intergrate an Template with different fields if you click i.e. description field. This would help us to describe all information which are needed for a Change request.

You could use something like ProForma Forms in a JSM/JSD project via the portal.

This will allow you to display additional fields based on the value of a previous field. You just can’t make the new visible fields mandatory.
