Dependencies view in JIRA Roadmap for links other than blockers

Abhiram Rao July 8, 2022

Hi Al,

Quick question around showing the Incoming and Outgoing dependencies.

I understand when you have JIRA issuetypes which are linked using "Blocked by" or "Blocks" it shows up in the Incoming and Outgoing dependencies.

However, can we get the issues displayed when we link using "dependent on", "depends" etc?

Thanks,

Abhiram

Hi @Abhiram Rao,

In your general Advanced Roadmaps settings (Plans > Settings > Advanced Roadmaps Dependencies) you can configure which link types you want to include and how they should behave:

Hope this helps!

Wait wait wait wait wait wait wait wait wait wait wait

You can get real dependencies in AR instead of this 'blocks' BS?

Why is this not documented?  Why is it not being shouted from the mountaintop?!

Seriously, does this provide the ability to get dependencies like in Structure and BigPicture?

Can it autoshift start and end dates?
