Delete option not found in Attachments

I don't see the garbage can icon/delete/X option on the files I uploaded in the Attachments section.

Even if I remove the file from the Comments or Description, these remain in the Attachments.

Have you confirmed that you have the Delete Attachments permission in that project? There are two different permissions - Delete Own Attachments and Delete All Attachments.

If an attachment was added by imbedding it in a comment, deleting the comment should delete the attachment also if you have permissions to delete attachments.

If an attachment was added directly to the issue, not by imbedding it in another field, and you have permissions to delete attachments then you should see the trash icon when hovering over the attachment thumbnail or looking at the list of attachments.

Have you checked delete permission in project the permission scheme ?

If you can upload but not delete attachments it means that the permission scheme for that project is not allowing you do delete your own attachments. If you have project admin permission you can look and see who have permission to delete by going to  Project settings > Permissions.
