Delete issues and epics

I've creates a board, so i'm guessing i'm admin. But when i try to delete an issue, i get the error that i'm not an admin. how can i set permission to myself to delete issues and epics? i know it's not a good practice, but a need to restart e new set of issues, those that i need to delete will never come back

To delete an issue (including Epics) you must have permission to do so in the Permission Scheme attached to the project.

the ability to create a board does not require admin permissions. For that mater Delete does not either. However, an admin must give you permission to do so. That said, deleting issues is almost always a bad idea. The only scenario where I do this is if I build a new project and create test issues and want to clean them out before going live. Even then I don't always do this.
