Delete Jira board created by employees no longer active

Hi

I need help how to delete a Jira board created by an employee that's no longer active.
I am the "Administrator" and "Deleter" of the Project.
Can anybody help?

HI,

Welcome to the community

You need to be the board administrator or Jira admin to delete a board.

Then go to yourjirainstancesecure/ManageRapidViews.jspa find the board and delete it

As I see it, it is not possible to become the board administrator as the creator is no longer active. How do I become a Jira admin?

Hi,

You should have one or more jira admin in your instance ask them to delete the board. It seems too big to become jira admin to delete only one board.
