Ever since 10/20/2025 (there was an AWS outage that day), we've been experiencing severe issues with the Jira phone app for iOS sending notifications about tickets. The delays range from hours to days. I received a notification about several "new" tickets that came in, only to look at the tickets and saw that they were tickets from 2 days ago, and resolved. Also, the application had assigned several tickets to me that I reassigned to another member of the team and they had already resolved. Third issue is that actual brand new tickets coming in have delays in notifications coming via the phone app (anywhere from 2 to 4 hours). I've already restarted my phone several times, updated the application, and tested push notification functionality and verified settings. Has anyone else experienced this issue? It's not only affected me but the rest of my team as well.
We’re seeing the same issue with Jira iOS push notifications since the AWS outage on 10/20/2025. Notifications for new tickets are delayed by hours, sometimes days, and outdated/resolved tickets are being sent. Standard troubleshooting (restarts, app updates, notification settings) hasn’t helped. Would be great if Atlassian could confirm whether this is a wider issue and provide a timeline for a fix.
