Defects linked to the User stories are not displayed under the Epic to which that User Story is link

I have an Epic 

Epic-1

UserStory-1 and User Story-2 have 'Epic Link' as Epic-1 linked. Hence User Stories are displayed under Epic-1.

Now I have Defect-1 linked (blocks) to UserStory-1 and Defect-2 linked (blocks) to UserStory-2. 

Why I am not able to see Defect-1 and Defect-2 under Epic-1 ?
