When creating a project, a default board is getting created, however when I create a project using shared template then the default board is not getting created.
Hi @Selva
Currently, Jira does not offer a feature to create a default board for new projects created using the "Share settings" option. As boards are not considered a project setting. Boards in Jira are independent entities that can be associated with a project but are not inherently part of the project's settings.
Thank you,
Ashish

Hello @Selva
Creating a project with a shared template doesn't necessarily include creating the boards as well (this is specifically for the bug tracking projects). To tackle this, you can go to Create board > Choose scrum or kanban > Board from an existing project > Select your newly created project.
I've also experienced something similar to this.

So, you dont have the option choose your project that you have just created? One thing to keep in mind that shared configuration also includes the permission scheme that is being inherited.

@Nikola Perisic , we don't have any permission to prevent this. however, if I create a new project by choosing the template it works as expected. let me do, some research around it. thank you for your help.
