Hello,

I am having a hard time finding out how to add filters that are not based on JQL... I basically want the "Advanced Filters" to be defaulted onto projects without having to select "All Issues / Advanced Search" every time.

It would also be very nice if these could be seen in the Sprint section of the project.

Is there any way to do this?

Thank you for your help!

I’m not following you on your question. You mention creating filters without using JQL but you want to default the search for issue to the Advanced search screen which is in fact for constructing JQL.

Sorry, I was a little unclear.

What I mean is the multiple choice filter fields you get if you're viewing "All Issues" in a project, and select "Advanced Search" in the right corner. You get these fields.

I would like those enabled by default, without having to go to "advanced" and I would like them available while viewing a sprint.

That's not "advanced", its "more fields".

You'd need to hack the core code of Jira to move fields out of "more" and on to the main part of the simple search options.
