Default Version for a new issue

Default Version for a new issue. Is this possible? We have several versions set up in our project:

Sprint 1, Sprint 2, Sprint 3. For some reason all new issues are set to Sprint 2.

As we move from sprint to sprint I'd like the default version to follow.

Hi Jim!

You can create a post function in your Workflow (in the Create transition) to add this value to your Version field.

See Advanced Workflow Configuration for more details.

In the Post function, I'm thinking "Update Issue Field" > Add > then Issue Field "Environment"?
Do I need to spell the "Field Value" exactly correctly: Fix Version/s

Otherwise how does it know what field I mean?
I'm on version 3.13.2.
