Default JIRA issue types - can't find a list

gordon.varney

Trying to find a list of all the (default, out of the box) issue types. In my mind, grouped as  Epics+, Story-level, and Sub-task.

Thanks.

So, if you create a new project and then you navigate as follows:

  • Click on the cogwheel on the upper left
  • Select Issues
  • Select Issue Type Schemes
  • Look for your project.  This will show you the default issue types added for that project.

What is the type of the project you are using? Is it team-managed or company-managed?

Hi @gordon.varney

With Atlassian updating the issue terminology , you will find the list of default 'work' types in https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/what-are-issue-types/#Default-work-types :)
