'Deal ID' search no longer possible?

Dear,

There are several search options within Jira Projects: by project title, customer name and until recently also via a so-called 'deal ID' in our organization, which is a custom field, on the tab 'project'. Since a while no more projects are found based on Deal ID. How can this be fixed?

Many thanks for your reply!  My apologies for this late response.

We enter the deal number (reference) at the top right after which only the issues appear in which this deal number is listed.
