Days in Column hover not displaying

I have multiple Scrum boards set up in Jira and have checked the "Days in column" option. 

I can not buy a plug-in as corporate has made that clear. So, any ScriptRunner, etc, fixes are not feasible.

In short, when I hover over the "Days in column" does, nothing displays. 

When I hover over story points, they display.

What do I need to do to make the "Days in column" count display when I hover over it?

Days in column is showing only as "dots" on the Board, not as number:

Correct. I've been trying to add an image but it keeps failing to add.

If I hover my cursor over the dots, nothing displays.

Aha, I got it. Maybe you are something wrong with internet browser. I using Google Chrome and all it's OK.

There is no another configurable option for this setting.

Do you have your Jira language set to English? Maybe you are affected similar Jira bug as JSWSERVER-12263

Thanks for the help. We're using the English language setting already. 

I've been using Chrome the entire time; I also tried Firefox and Edge just in case, but it doesn't display there either.

Thank you for info. Another thing I can think of - you can try reindexing Jira.

Further troubleshooting can be done by looking in the Jira log to see if there is a problem, e.g. when loading the Board, where it does not work.

If none of this works, I recommend contacting Atlassian support directly.

We are also affected by this issue

It seems that hovering above story points will display the text "Story Points"

if you hover above the dots nothing is displayed

Hello everyone. I've just spoked with Atlassian Support and this is a Jira bug with version 9.6.0 (in our case). I don't know if this affects other versions but we found out that "Days in Column hover" doesn't work after we upgraded from 9.2.0 to 9.6.0 Jira version.

The Atlassian support said that they will open a bug for the developers to be fixed in a future release (don't have any more information on this).

If I get a link to the Atlassian open bug I will share it here so everyone can see the progress.
