DatePicker (JS) Format German Letter

Dear Devops,

im using the Javascript DatePicker to get and save dates. When i use a german system, the datepicker wants to save e.x. 10/Okt/2017. That produces an error with a message that i cant use this Letter. But when i use 10/Oct/2017 (edit it manually) i can save it without any messages.

Thanks a lot,

Tobi

Hi Tobi,

why do you use the 'MMM' - Month-format? We have the following settings (also a german Jira system):

Hi Thomas,

thanks for your reply. i know that this is a solution but not the solution for my problem becouse i want to use Okt and not the monthnumber.

I programmed a quick parser which parse the okt to oct, but this is only a quick solution til someone or me find a better one.
