Data Center end?

Hello.

I have a few questions:

1. Mar 30, 2026
End of license sales to new customers - after this date, will I still be able to download plugins from the marketplace, try them for free, and then purchase them for use until 2029?

2. If I have jira data center plugins installed (free plugins that do not require an activation key), will they continue to work after March 2026 or 2029?

Here are the current official dates related to DC apps support on Atlassian Markeplace

Since December 16, 2025, at 23:59 PT, submissions for new Data Center Marketplace apps is no longer accepted to the Atlassian Markeplace which mean that vendors cannot offically add NEW DC apps (it does not affect existing ones and those vendors decide to sell outside Atlassian Markeplace) 

As for support for already existing ones.. Not quite until exactly 2029.. 

you will continue to be able to purchase them and do license expansions until March 30, 2028, at 23:59 PT. Developers will also continue to be able to provide updates and maintenance to existing apps 

I guess that also mean ability to use trials.. 

Free apps of course are basically the same (just you do not need buy them.. )

Yes, until the vendor/developer decides to end this or removes their app from the markeptlace.
