Dashboard reindexing not happening automatically

when ever i make some changes in the issue, its not updating in the dashboards automatically. i have to do re indexing to keep the dashboard updated. anyone facing similar issues or any clues how to fix it ?

And if you make a change, can you see this change in the detail issue view or in the Issue Navigator?

If you need to reindex an issue after change, then it means that something is wrong with your Jira index process and it influences all parts of Jira, not only dashboards. You should have a look in the atlassian-jira.log for errors.

yeah i can see the changes in JIRA issue detail view, only in dashboard tables issue count is not getting updated. every time after reindexing it updates automatically.
