Dashboard error messages on invalid filters not clear

Deleted user
August 26, 2021

Hi community,

in previous versions of Jira the error message on the dashboard was very clear when an invalid filter was applied. In the new Jira the error message is much more cryptic and might confuse the user.

Is there any way to adapt this for the user?

Hi Hagen,

It looks like someone has deleted that filter.

Hi @[deleted]

There is now way to change the error.

But the error says exactly what the error is:
"A value with ID '19713' does not exist for the field 'filter'"
