DVCS Github integration very slow to update issues

romakarol
February 8, 2022

Followed these steps to Integrate github with JIRA:
https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/integrate-with-github/

JIRA settings:
Repo added in:
settings->DVCS accounts:

Permission schema is default software schema which has the right 'View Development Tools' permission.

It works but the issue took 40 minutes before the PR, branch and commit (linked through the issue ID) all became visible. Is there anywhere I can:
Change the polling setting/frequency?
- View HTTP requests to/from JIRA to troubleshoot if it tried to poll at all next time Im waiting?

Hi @romakarol

I am not sure what the exact use case is in your scenario, but I would recommend looking at Exalate in order to achieve the Github-Jira integration. Exalate provides a 2 way integration setup with the ability to implement deep ticket integration if you want.

I am a pre-sales engineer @ Exalate and would love the opportunity to understand your use case better in a demo session.

Thanks

Syed

Hi @romakarol

Could you take a look at server resources where Jira is running and indexing of repositories to automatically update

Let me know if this fixes the issue

Thanks,

Pramodh
