Customizing the swimlane layout in Jira Agile

My team thinks it's sometimes difficult to see the swimlane separators that groups the issues. From images online it seemed to once look better. So I'm wondering if it's possible to customize this layout somehow, using css or whatever? I've attached an image on how it used to look which we think at least look better and how it looks in our system currently.

If someone could guide me in the direction of what files to modify it would be highly appriciated.

I don't know which exact files to change but what you can do is find the right CSS classes that you want to change and look for the right soy or css templates to change in the source code.
