Customized Field not available in search criteria

Hello

In advanced search, we need a criteria based on a customized Fied that has specific values according the project.

JIRA doesn't allow to select it. 

We can have it in the result columns but not in criteria.

Do you know why ?

How to do to have it in criteria and be able to select value linked to a projetc ?

What type of field is the custom field, and what have you got for it's "searcher"?

You can check this by looking at Admin -> Custom fields, find your field and look under the name for the type.  Then click "edit" to the right and that should show you the searcher.
