Hi,
I need to create some custom fields with information from external database. I found some add-on that do this, but only works for Jira server.
Is there any add-on to work with external database in Jira Cloud.
Hi Alejandro,
Right now this does not seem to exist, but it is more important if they are going to let you do this. You have to think that Jira Cloud is on the internet, while your organizations database might in an internal network which they probabliy will not let you access from outside (specially from the internet) as it might pose a security risk.
Maybe it would be easier to use the API to call the values from a web application or do some kind of integration.
If this is not possible you will probably have to move to server.
Regards
Okey, I will try with the API.
Thank you, Lara!!

Hi Alejandro,
I just came across this app:
We have a similar use case and this seems like a promising solution.
