Custom field value restriction

Sachin Guttala

We have a field called "Time Spent" in one of our project that needs to be restricted so users can only enter time in the HH:MM format. For example, valid entries should be "23:56" or "101:25," but not "023:056." Please suggest a workaround or any marketplace app to enforce this format.

@Sachin Guttala

I doubt if JIRA out of the box has this capability to enforce.

You can refer to this thread and see if it helps

Solved: Time (hh:mm) format custom field

Other option is to write a forge app for your custom use case, if you don't want to buy a marketplace app
