Custom field vIsibility control by current user's group

masukawa

Is it possible to control the visibility of custom fields on the issue creation screen in JIRA Cloud according to the group to which the user belongs?

I would like to create a custom field that is visible only to those who belong to Group A.

I am considering using a paid plugin.
I would appreciate any advice you can give me.

Thank you in advance for your help.

No, there's no way to do this without apps.

Hi Nic,

Thanks for your answer.
Could you tell me if you know paid plugins that can do?

Not on Cloud, no, but that does not mean there are none.   (For server, I'd start with a look at Scriptrunner Behaviours of course, a bit, and Quisapps Field Security a lot)

I'd have a look around the Marketplace for apps that might be able to do it.
