Custom URL on Transition Screen

Hi, I have searched and searched, and couldn't find anyone asking this previously.

I am wanting to display a clickable URL on the Transition Screen. The URL is different per Jira issue, so I cannot use the custom field type "Message Custom Field" for this.

Any ideas?

At what point do you know what that custom URL needs to be? Is that derived by some previously occurring event?

It will be know just after creation and is saved in custom URL field.
