Custom Field optional in one transition (create issue) but required in other (resolve issue)

Hi,

I want to add the 'Fixed in Version' custom field only to the resolve issue transition of a bug (my custom resolve issue screen).

How do I set the filed 'Fixed in Version' to required when the user resolves the bug?

Answer accepted

You need to write or find a validator that you can add to the transition. There are loads in the plugin exchange. I tend to use the one bundled into the Jira Suite utilities.

Of course, the 'Fixed in Version' field is not displayed to the user when he creates the bug issue.
