Custom Field Dependencies (Single list)

Hello

We are in the process of integrating our Jira with one application. We have one requirement regarding custom field dependencies.

In brief, we have three custom fields. Field 1, Field 2, Field 3

Three custom field types – Single list

If we select a field1 value bases on that field2 value has to update and based on the field 2 value Field 3 values have to populate.

Achieved this scenario with scriptrunner behaviour but the lines of code and the data is huge. 

So decided to go for external data base plug-ins like Elements connect or Live SQL Custom fields.

please suggest the solution for custom field dependencies

Hello @Likhitha Kosanam ,

If you are testing Elements Connect, a good to place to get started is with the Getting Started Guide.

Once you have your datasource configured and are familiar with the admin, you can follow the tutorial for configuring dependent select lists.
