Hi everyone,
I'm a long-time user of Rich Filter on JIRA server and recently changed company and they are using JIRA Cloud, which doesn't support Rich Filters.
I've been trying out Custom Chart for Jira to see if it was a good enough alternative and while most of the features seem to be there (or close enough) I can't seem to be able to find something like the Filter Result gadget, that dynamically updates with the plugin's filters.
Does anyone have a suggestion on how to do it? Or can suggest another plugin that works on Cloud and maybe will better answer my needs?
Thank you :)
Samuel
Hey @Samuel Amzallag ,
A new option to take into account :) We provide a commercial app called Dashboard Hub for Jira. It provides more than 60 different gadgets to report your metrics, integration with 9 different products (Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Confluence, Bitbucket, Insight, Opsgenie, Statuspage...), dashboard templates and powerful JQL Custom Charts to create your own graphs.
And you can securely share those dashboards, check these examples: Agile Team dashboard, ITSM dashboard or DevOps dashboard.
Hope this helps!
The Cloud version of Rich Filters for Jira Dashboards is now available in the Atlassian Marketplace.
Regards,
Dan

Hi @Samuel Amzallag!
Depending on the insights you're looking to generate for your team, another off-the-shelf web app alternative is our Team Performance Summary from umano.tech.
Essentially, it's a dashboard for agile teams to track how they're designing, building, reviewing and engaging in their sprint or Kanban intervals. Insights are drawn from their interactions in Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Slack and Mattermost.
Our predefined agile success metrics enable greater team observability not just into HOW they're practicing, but also by surfacing the underlying drivers most impacting your team's effectiveness. Teams value the ability to self-compare their current performance relative to their usual performance (rolling median for the last 6 intervals). As mentioned above, the underlying drivers provide context as to why a team may be above or below it's usual rate of performance.
Interval Reports can be exported as an email. Let me know if there's anything else
Hope this helps!
Chris

Welcome to the community, @Samuel Amzallag.
You can also try our Jira cloud app Quick Filters for Jira Dashboards.
It offers a large number of dashboard gadgets that can be filtered dynamically with a "Quick Controller".
You can try Quick Filters for Jira Dashboards without installation on our demo dashboards.

Hello Marlene,
Thank you for your recommendation as well.
I'm currently testing Quick Filters as well, and I have to admit it's quite close to Rich Filters and I definitely like it.
That being said, I find it a bit lacking on the visual & customization side. I tend to make quite complex dashboards, and being able to customize the color to display the various information is actually quite crucial, in order for my team to be able to extract the important information in just a glance.
That's why I'm pursuing my search for the perfect plugin.

We love rich filters. I would recommend eazybi as an alternative. It has filter capabilities and when reports are combined in a dashboard, they behave like the rich filters controllers.

Hello Fabian,
Thank you for the recommendation!
I don't know that one, so I'll definitely check it out.

Here is Ilze from eazyBI for Jira app support.
You may check out the eazyBI demo account with a lot of report examples: eazyBI Demo reports.
As @Fabian Lim mentioned, eazyBI reports that are collected in one dashboard (you will see in the demo account that reports are grouped by themes in dashboards), might be filtered by the sam filters; changing the filter selection in the dashboard, you filter all reports in this dashboard where this filter is applicable).
Those eazyBI dashboards can be shared also in Jira dashboards, filtering possibilities remain.
Please do not hesitate to contact support@eazybi.com if you have any further questions.
Best,
Ilze, eazyBI Customer Support Consultant
