Hiya,

I have multiple resources working on multiple projects across my sprints. Seemingly I can't capture cumulative story points per individual across multiple projects...

Does anyone have an answer to if this is possible? My boss is nagging at me and it would be a great help.

Thanks

Hi Chris - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

You might be able to do that with Automation For Jira. Take a look at this previous post:

https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-questions/Automation-get-remaining-story-points-in-the-sprint/qaq-p/1356367?utm_source=atlcomm&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=mentions_reply&utm_content=topic

Also, you might find some good information here:

There are two types of automation:

  • Global: In the Free version, you get 100 executions per product, per month
  • Project: In all versions, you get unlimited executions per month

Automation Basics: https://www.atlassian.com/software/jira/guides/expand-jira/automation

You can do this via global rules to apply to all projects also. You'll need to be a Jira Admin/Site Admin, go to Jira Settings > System > Automation Rules (left-hand menu).

For more on using Automation For Jira see these help pages.

Finally, take a look at Rule #2 in the examples in this post:
