Creating workflow process

Hello Dears,

hope you will be fine, am an engineer from a small company i need to create a workflow process in Jira between two department like IT and Marketing, when marketing sending a request to IT, IT should handle the request till that request finalize.

please  to support me how to use Jira for such kind of projects and guide me as am new for Jira, i'll appreciate your help.
