Creating weekly charts for specific team members

Hi,

New to Atlassian Jira. I need to create a bar chart with filter. The chart should have few team members weekly count on tickets which were created vs done.

The tutorial looks outdated and does not help. Any suggestion where I should be looking.

What I suggest is to create a filter for the members you want to include e.g.

project = abc and assignee in (1,2,3)

then create a dashboard and add the Created vs Resolved gadget and reference the saved filter. This isn’t a bar chart but I think it does a good job.

How do I create a filter? I dont see any UI which says Create Filter.
