Creating tasks via API seems to be down for more than a day already

We have been using https://zapier.com/apps/jira/integrations for a very long time to create Jira tasks from Emails. and we also have a user "Report an issue" feature that directly (Via our own servers) creates Jira tasks and both services are down since yesterday. This is quite urgent as this is our main method for all users communications.

Jira also uses its API to create its own issues.  If the web UI is up and running, then so is the API.  Have you tested a simple curl call to it?  What response does it get?

Thanks for the reply but this is NOT a Zapier problem because our own Report an issue tool stopped working at the same time.

You'll need to raise that with Zapier.  We're end users of Atlassian's stuff, and have less access than you to your Cloud and Zapier systems.  This seems like Zapier has failed and you'll need to get them to tell you why.
