Creating new linked issue

When on an issue, add a new linked issue. 

It used to auto populate so you did not have to fill in the whole thing. You could adjust to fit this new issue. A simple example, if I add a new linked issue, the subject does not even populate. 

This just stopped working to day. I did it yesterday, several times. Coming in today, there has obviously been an update, but now this auto-population is broken. I rely heavily  on this feature to keep everything connected properly but if I have to re-type the whole thing it is a waste of time.

Hi @Paralegal Department , indeed I think this has changed. While creating a clone copies over data fields the "create linked issue" does not. You might want to use the Ann app Feedback link under the "?" Icon in the upper right to give feedback to Atlassian.

Note, I think that software projects have always (?) worked this way but business projects used to copy data. As Atlassian has been merging JWM with JSW into the single Jira I expect this is one of the changes resulting.

Thank you for the information, I just don't understand why they would remove this. I will send a question as you suggested.
