Creating issues out of the sprint column

Hello,

On my active sprint board i have the option to create issues out of a column directly. 

Looks like this

seems like it is connected to the "blocked" status, cause every time I move the status in the column board settings, the option moves to that column. 

But this option is not available to any of the other statues. 

Can I control in which column this option will be available?

From the details, it appears that "Blocked" is the first status in your workflow. The new work item will be created in the first status, and then can be moved to other statuses as per the workflow configuration.

The reason why you see the issue create option on the board for the blocked status, is because it must be the first status of the workflow the project is using.

There are certain factors that need to be checked in order to make sure the 'create' button is visible for all statuses on the boards.

1. The user should have permission to create issues in the concerned project.
2. The board column has not reached its maximum issue limit.
3. Issue type workflow includes valid transitions to all statuses in the column.
4. Workflow should not have direct transitions only. It should have global transitions to the column's status(es) without any validators, conditions, or transition screens.
5. The initial workflow transition has no condition or transition screen.
6. Board filter JQL is simple and easy to evaluate
