Creating a rule to automatically set the Start Date to today

Hello,

I want to create a rule that will automatically set the Start Date to today's date when a user story moves from "Backlog" to "In Refinement".

I can get it to work when the date is hard-coded as below, but I don't know & can't find a "today's date" variable.

Any assistance would be much appreciated.

Hi @Ian Court 

The smart value for todays date is; {{now}}

Also you don't need the advanced option.

You can pick the fields "start date" and instead of providing a value jsut ste in the field {{now}}
