Creating a new issue via automation from an existing issue - images don't show in new issue

We currently have a helpdesk project and a development project.  In the workflow (and automation) when we set the status of the helpdesk issue to "in development", a new linked issue is automatically created in the development project.  This automation all works fine but the images in the description don't seem to pull across to the new issue, only the summary and description text.  Any ideas on how to resolve this?

Hi Shaun - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

Sounds like that might be a bug. Are you doing a Create for the new issue or are you Cloning the first issue? The clone might help if you are not trying that.

Hi John. Thanks for the response.  I am creating a new issue and setting the fields based on the original issue.  I'll have a look into the cloning option as that might solve the problem.
