Creating Labels with " - " as separator.

Hello. I am trying to create the label ga-q1-2023. However, whenever I try to apply the label to the issue I receive the following error stating the label cannot contain spaces. The label does NOT contain spaces. 

According to Atlassian documentation, the use of hyphens with a compound label is permitted. 

I was able to create ga.q1.2023 as a label, which makes no sense.

Just to clarify - it looks like you had a space at the end of your label when you got the error message (there's a space after the 2023 and before the end quote mark '

Please disregard. For absolutely no reason at all, it now works.
