Creating Issue in test environment not possible

Hi, 

I keep on working on a project which I unfortunately didn't create. I wanted to create an issue in the test environment, but it fails with the message "Begin Task: Begin Task is required". I filled out all the required fields.

Where does this come from? What is a Begin Task?

It looks like your admin has configured a rule in your project, which requires you to hae a parent for a task. (named Basic Task)

Can you check with your Jira Admin on this.?
